ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM
The British Council Korea currently has three Adults Teaching Centres in Seoul. The Euljiro centre is based in the historical centre of Seoul to the north of the Han River and runs myClass throughout the week in its eleven classrooms. The Gangnam centre is based in one of Seoul’s liveliest areas, south of the Han River and is a seven-classroom operation. The Jamsil centre was newly opened in June 2017 and is located on the east side of Seoul. Across the centres, we currently have more than 2,300 students studying with us with more growth planned for the future.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
Working with both our students and with your internal colleagues at British Council, you will promote and ensure quality teaching and effective learning of English. You will also support the wider aims of British Council and its cultural relations mission.

Council English Centre in Seoul as a centre of Adult expertise.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
If you are CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent qualified, have an IELTS band 8/9 in each of 4 sections of the academic module along with an Undergraduate/ University degree, this is the opportunity for you. We would need candidates to have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience post certificate.
